The Franklin-Somerset First Aid Squad (FSFAS) was founded in 1976 by 29 individuals. The FSFAS was, prior to 1976, part of Community Vol. Fire Co. and First Aid Squad. Due to circumstances at the time, some of the members decided to start their own organization.
